This process publication seeks to embody the exploration that exists in my process by working between digital and physical; meaning and function.
Process book design in response to a graphic design course taught by professor Bianca Ibarlucea, Speak, Say, Write, Type, during Fall 2022.“Being a design student sometimes means having dreams about missing InDesign links and navigating stray ropes of hot glue. It also means experiencing a feeling that ironically cannot be put into words. Having the ability to bring language to life through the nuances of design seems to be a magical power. Endless typefaces have limitless potential for exploration, with time being the only constraint. The invisible lines that intersect at ninety-degree angles cease to be incarcerating boxes and begin to be pedestals on the page to display words and images.”
